Joshua W. Potter assists clients with Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation claims. Admitted to practice in California in 1981, he is also admitted to U.S. Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, the U.S. District Court Central District of California, Eastern District and Southern District of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He is a published author, with works relating to Social Security Disability. Mr. Potter has lectured on Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and the Perils of Facebook to the National Organization of Social Security Attorneys and the National Fibromyalgia Associations. He was an occasional speaker for the Los Angeles U.S.C. affiliated Hospital’s Continuing Medical Education program on Social Security Disability.
Mr. Potter has served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Social Security Disability Section. Mr. Potter speaks social Mandarin and has a degree in Chinese Language.

Rebecca C. Padilla has been with Potter, Cohen, Samulon & Padilla since September 2005. Her practice is exclusively devoted to Social Security Disability claims, including representing clients at the administrative level and in United States District Court.
Prior to joining Potter, Cohen, Samulon & Padilla, Ms. Padilla worked for Bet Tzedek Legal Services where she represented clients in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims and wage and overtime claims. Ms. Padilla has been recognized by the Mexican American Bar Foundation for her excellent leadership and commitment to service within the Latino community. She is fluent in the Spanish language.
Ms. Padilla has served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Social Security Section, and has lectured on various disability issues at local, regional and national conferences, including the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR).
